Terms of Use
Effective date: October 19, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and TaskFire, LLC (formerly Appigo, Inc.), 249 N 1200 E, Lehi, Utah (“TaskFire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They cover the TaskFire to-do app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, the TaskFire web app at taskfire.io, the taskfire.io website, and related support and services (together, the “Service”).
1. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, downloading or using the TaskFire apps, or using the website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organization.
2. Who can use TaskFire
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services without parental consent in your country if that is higher. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
3. Your account and security
- Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and sign-in methods confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Tell us right away at support@appigo.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
- If you sign in with a third-party account (for example Google or Apple), that provider’s terms also apply to how you sign in.
4. Your license to use the apps
As long as you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install and use the TaskFire apps on devices you own or control, and to use the web app, for your personal or internal business use. If you get the app from Apple’s App Store, your use must also follow the App Store’s usage rules, and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these Terms. Apple is not responsible for the Service or for supporting it.
You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute the apps, or reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract their source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
5. Your content
Your tasks, lists, notes, comments, attachments and other material you put into TaskFire (“Your Content”) belong to you. We do not claim ownership of it.
To run the Service, you give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, copy, process, back up, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to provide, sync, secure and support the Service for you and the people you choose to share with. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept for a limited time in backups or where the law requires us to keep them.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to put it into the Service. When you share a list or task with others, they can see and may be able to edit it, so share only with people you trust. You can export your tasks from TaskFire.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or violate anyone else’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- upload or share content that is threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful;
- send spam, chain letters or unsolicited advertising through the Service;
- upload viruses or other harmful code, or try to disrupt, overload or damage the Service;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems, or get around any security or usage limits;
- scrape, crawl or harvest data from the Service by automated means without our written permission;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone; or
- resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
We may remove content or limit accounts that violate these rules. We do not pre-screen content and are not obligated to monitor it.
7. Plans, subscriptions and billing
7.1 Plans
TaskFire is offered on these plans:
- Free: core features at no cost, with limits described on our Pricing page.
- Premium: $2.99 per month or $30 per year.
- Teams: $4 per user per month or $40 per user per year.
Features included in each plan are described on the Pricing page. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless shown otherwise and do not include applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your location. Local App Store prices may differ.
7.2 Free trial
New Premium subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you will be charged for the plan you chose. You can cancel during the trial and you will not be charged.
7.3 Automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. You authorize us, or Apple for App Store purchases, to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
7.4 App Store purchases
If you subscribe inside the iPhone, iPad or Mac app, the purchase is made through Apple and is billed and managed by Apple under the App Store’s terms. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. To cancel or change an App Store subscription, use your Apple ID subscription settings; cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
7.5 Purchases made on the web
If you subscribe on our website, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. You authorize us and our processor to charge the fees and taxes for your plan to the payment method on your account. We may pre-authorize a card to confirm it is valid. You can cancel a web subscription in your account settings or by contacting support at support@appigo.com.
7.6 Cancellation
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
7.7 Refunds
- Yearly plans purchased from us are eligible for a refund if you request it within 14 days of subscribing. Contact support@appigo.com or visit support.appigo.com.
- Monthly plans are not eligible for a refund.
- App Store purchases are refunded only by Apple, under Apple’s policies. Request these refunds from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Otherwise fees are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
7.8 Price changes
We may change our prices. We will give you reasonable notice before a price change affects your subscription, and it will take effect at the start of your next billing period, so you have a chance to cancel first. For App Store subscriptions, Apple may also ask you to confirm a price increase. We may also make promotional offers with different features or pricing; an offer applies only to the people it was made to.
7.9 Delinquent accounts
If a payment fails or an amount is past due, we may suspend or downgrade access to paid features until it is paid. Where the law allows, you are responsible for reasonable costs of collecting unpaid amounts, including chargeback and collection fees.
8. Third-party services
TaskFire can work with services run by other companies, such as Siri, Google Calendar and Slack, and is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, content or actions. If a third party changes or ends its service, the related TaskFire feature may change or stop working. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share information about you. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described there.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics and logos, is owned by TaskFire or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. TaskFire, Todo, Todo Cloud and their logos are trademarks of TaskFire, LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use our trademarks. Other names and marks mentioned on the Service belong to their owners; for example, GTD and Getting Things Done are registered trademarks of David Allen & Co., and TaskFire is not affiliated with or endorsed by David Allen & Co.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@appigo.com with a description of the work, where the infringing material appears, and your contact information.
11. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or other feedback, you agree we may use it for any purpose without owing you anything. Please don’t send us feedback you consider confidential.
12. Changes to the Service
We are always improving TaskFire. We may add, change or remove features, or discontinue parts of the Service. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will try to give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
13. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by contacting support@appigo.com. Ending your use of the Service does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users, if your account is delinquent, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Your Content license limits, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, will survive.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, TASKFIRE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, THAT REMINDERS OR SYNC WILL ALWAYS WORK ON TIME, OR THAT YOUR CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST. PLEASE KEEP YOUR OWN COPIES OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, TASKFIRE AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50.
Some states and countries do not allow certain disclaimers or limits on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TaskFire and its owners, employees and agents from claims, losses, liabilities and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or anyone’s rights.
17. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any lawsuit related to the Service or these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and you and TaskFire consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. This does not take away any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or an in-app message, before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
19. General
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan terms shown at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and TaskFire about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don’t enforce a provision right away, we have not waived it.
- You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- You agree that these Terms and notices may be provided electronically.
