A few months ago, Apple announced three brand new Macs running on their very own Apple M1 chips. A MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini. Our June 14th, 2021 release, version 10.6.0, is now available via the Mac App Store, and Todo Cloud now fully supports the new architecture in these machines. This effort to have the app compatible with these new devices reflects our long-term commitment to our customers. Ensuring that they have access to our latest app to do more of what matters most to them on all their devices.
The new desktop app brings a familiar design of our already widely loved iPadOS app. In addition to countless hours spent tweaking the app to work and look just right on these new devices.
Other great things in this update:
macOS Widget
Starting with macOS 11 Big Sur, you can view any list in a widget on your Mac. You can quickly check out your to-dos, peek at deadlines, and see what’s up next in a particular list. We’ve made our widget feature powerful yet simple to give you full control of your task list right from your Mac’s Notification tray.
Dark Mode
Todo Cloud’s appearance now automatically adapts to your environment in macOS BigSur and Monterey with our fine-tuned Dark Mode theme that looks fantastic. Dark Mode now extends throughout the entire Todo Cloud desktop app including the main window, task edit pane window, and sidebar. By default on macOS BigSur, Todo Cloud will automatically switch to Light Mode or Dark Mode depending on your appearance selection from System Preferences under the General tab and the Appearance selection.
Mac Catalyst
Our newly created Mac app runs native code built for Apple devices which means our app utilizes the same frameworks, resources, and runtime environment as apps built just for Mac. Fundamental Mac desktop and windowing features are added and touch controls have been adapted to the keyboard and mouse for optimum desktop use.
What’s planned
Our new app is just scratching the surface! we have several features and improvements in the pipeline which we’re excited about and can’t wait to share with you. Stay Tuned!
